Samantha Gosein

Samantha Gosein is a Learning Specialist with over 10 years of successful experience working with children aged 5-18. She is particularly strong in working with children with learning difficulties as the result of ADD, ADHD, Aspergers, Autism, Executive Function disorder, dyslexia, bi-polar disorder, substance abuse, eating disorders, and non-verbal learning disabilities.

Specializing in Literacy and Language, Samantha is an Organizational and Motivational Coach who uses a multi-sensory structured approach to learning that has been proven to be highly effective. Her patient, caring, and encouraging manner make children feel heard and allows her to make an instant connection. She is particularly strong in building a studentē—“ self-confidence and removing the stigma associated with learning disabilities.

Samantha has trained and worked in schools in the United States and Europe and is proficient in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Orton Gillingham and Wilson Reading systems. She has designed and implemented reading programs in Connecticut schools for grades K-3, including designing programs for children who have English as a Second Language (ESL). In addition to performing Clinical Research at Columbia, she has also worked in a world famous facility in Connecticut treating patients with substance abuse and eating disorders.

Samantha is a Wilton mother of two school age children. Born and raised in London, she was schooled in Great Britain, received training in Italy and Columbia University in New York, and is an honors graduate of the University of Connecticut. She is Certified by the Domestic Violence Crisis Center in Norwalk and serves as a Board Member of the Connecticut Branch of International Dyslexic Association (CONNBIDA). Her reputation for helping children is well celebrated as she has helped numerous students with below average grades reach the Honor Roll. Samantha is fluent in English and Italian with a working knowledge of Spanish.
