Comprehensive Workshops

Individual Attention

With educational methods and curriculum changing so rapidly in schools (especially over the past decade), we at London Bridge feel that necessary skills sometimes are overlooked in many academic areas. Changes happen so fast, combined with time constraints and class size, that teachers do not always have ample opportunity to give their students the priceless combination of individual attention and alternative methods to completing their school work effectively.

At London Bridge, we recognize these circumstances in our schools. We would like to offer, to students who feel they may benefit, the opportunity to sign up for our comprehensive workshops. The number of students in attendance at each workshop will be kept to a minimum to ensure that students get that individual attention lacking in the regular classroom. Our classes are, as mentioned, comprehensive and focused on individual skill sets, methods, and subject areas. Mid-term exams are coming up in January for high school students and our study skills workshops provide a great opportunity to help with preparation for these exams.

AP Workshops

London Bridge is offering special workshops for students in AP (Advanced Placement) classes concentrating on study skills and habits. AP courses can be very challenging for students on many different levels. The content alone is more difficult than most other courses. Even more challenging is the nature of the testing. Testing for AP classes (the final test taking place in the spring) is cumulative. For most high school students, this is a relatively new concept and many have not been shown how to prepare and study properly for such exams.

Of course, as always at London Bridge, we keep a constant eye on new trends in education and offer students help as their needs change.
